Condition: Overall excellent, minor wear to edges, deep rich patina. The tip opposite the smoking hole has been re-glued.

Comments: This is a fine and rare early catlinite calumet pipe bowl attributed to the Pawnee. The lead-inlayed, four-pointed Morning Star would appear to associate this pipe bowl with the Pawnee who’s central motif is this symbol.
