Condition: Very good, shows extensive wear and considerable use, no restoration

Collection History: Two paper labels attached to interior:

1.) Accession # ”1”

2.) “Yoke. Made and used by Amaziah Taft of Dresden, Washington Co. N.Y. in the    ea(rly) part of the 19th century. Presented to this collection by his son George Taft”

Comments: A masterfully carved yoke with exceptional provenance.
